W
aynesville Room is of course named for our town and overlooks
the town of Waynesville with its flood-lit church spires and the mountains beyond. This room has a King sized four poster bed with a top of the line pillow-top mattress and a feather bed.  During the colder months, there is a goose-down comforter to insure your complete comfort.   Artwork in this room includes antique reproductions of prints by J.J. Audubon and two etchings from the series of the Prophets, by Florida artist David Hunter.

The room is air conditioned and has a private bathroom with a conventional tub/shower combination.  The center photograph above shows the adjacent, small sitting room which has a small refrigerator and cable television with a DVD and CD player.  Among the CD's you will find there is one called, "Music To Go To Sleep By".

Remarks from the Waynesville Room Guest Book

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo !!  Thank you both so much for your warm hospitality.  The Accommodations were impeccable, the breakfasts delightful, and the conversations and company, diverse and entertaining.  Good luck in this venture.  We'll be back.

Looking backwards to our bookings and our e-mail conversations, and looking forwards, we have the feeling that our days here will be the highlight of our 4-week visit in the USA.   We hope to see you again, here or in Germany.  Thanks for everything !

Gosh! What can we say?!!  It was like coming home.  Friendly smiles, hugs to greet us, and all the wonderful little and huge things you guys do to make one feel wonderful.  You dried our wet things, folded them and put them on the chair in our beautiful room, we woke up to the warm & soothing hot tea, then we indulged in your soufflé, yogurt, fruit, doggie toast, we feel pampered, coddled and its so difficult to say goodbye until next year!!

Well, we'd planned to be in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but had to cancel at this time due to the hurricane hitting their coastline.  So at the last minute we decided to spend the weekend in these beautiful mountains.  We had been here twice before, staying in a friend's cabin and had fallen in love with Waynesville.  We didn't know which B&B to stay with, but we're so glad we were lucky enough to stay at Prospect Hill!  Your home is wonderful and warm and the hospitality comfortable and easy.  Kevin had planned to slay the Marlin and Sailfish in Mexico, but instead had a great time hooking some trout in his first fly fishing experience.  Thanks for making us feel so comfortable!
